I started my art career as a child with a good friend and neighbor, Audrey Cobble. Every Saturday morning, I would go to Audrey’s house, and we would spend all day painting and watching old movies.  In the eighth grade, I took a “careers” class and visited an art and framing store.  That visit sparked an interest in custom framing and art restoration.

In high school, I studied under Dr. Larry Bunch. I took any and all forms of art from photography to drawing, painting, sculpture, and printmaking.  During the two years I took classes from Dr. Bunch, I wandered into the art world.

At age 18, I was offered a job working in the framing industry, and am still working in that industry today. I love art and the world around it. I even modeled for local artists to understand all aspects of drawing the human figure.

In 2010, I studied at the College of Southern Nevada.  And, at age 21, I started restoration work, and now own Scott David Restoration & Design.  I still love to paint and draw, and though I haven’t much time between work and commission jobs, I still try to squeeze in a few pieces a year.
